Thank you to Capilano University for selecting me paint a mural at kálax-ay the Sunshine Coast Campus in Sechelt BC. Thank you for the help and support of Vancouver Mural Festival for organizing the production.
The Eagle is a symbol of courage, strength and determination. It is the most dominant and respected of the West Coast birds because of its large powerful wings, talons, iconic beak and legendary eyesight. I felt it was the perfect animal to represent and inspire all students at kálax-ay the Sunshine Coast Campus to achieve their goals. The blue background was chosen to create a connection to the Sky and to brighten and uplift the campus and surrounding neighbourhood.

Supplied by 1964.

Today, it is the legalization and democratization of cannabis that is re-opening the dialogue for change in our society. This type of paradigm shift is at the core of the Supplied by 1964 brand ethos, as they strive to be a driving force in the conversations to come. I was asked to Illustrate my interpretation of the strain Trainwreak. This image portrays the the distortion of time and appears on the product packaging. Visit their website to find out more and see the rest of the amazing artist series on the different Marihuana strains.

Ben Tour @ The Gumboot.

Wrapping up a great year (artistically, not politically) with an Art Show at the Gumboot Cafe in the heart of beautiful Roberts Creek BC on the Sunshine Coast.
During the 1960's U.S. Draft Dodgers settled in Roberts Creek. It is also well known for several communes formed during that time. It's a beautiful place that hasn't changed much in the 15 years I've been visiting. There are still not many street lights or a gas station in town. Thats fine by me.
I've created a series of self directed mixed-media paintings which coalesce my love of illustration and contemporary art.
November 19th - January 1st. Contact me directly to enquire about available works.
JUXTAPOZ X Mozilla X Ben Tour.

I was asked to transform Mozilla's Vancouver Office and continue JUXTAPOZ's collaboration series of murals around the world. What else but a Fox. Thank you to everyone involved. This image and article is also featured in the December 2016 issue of Juxtapoz Magazine.
